112th Philippine Independence Day

Philippine Independence Day is celebrated on every 12 June. This year Philippines is celebrating its 112th Independence Day. The theme for this year is "Kalayaan - Tagumpay ng Bayan".

As usual, there will be a flag hosting ceremony on 12 June. It was held at Ang Bahay during the term of Her Excellency Virginia Benavidez but this year it will be held at the Philippine Embassy.

The Philippine Embassy is inviting the Filipino community to join the Filipino Community Leader's Gathering which will be held on Sunday, 13th June 2010 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Philippine Embassy Chancery. Gyver, who is the winner of RTB Talentime 2010 will render a song during this event as well. So come by if you are free.

Gyver is the Winner of RTB Talent Time 2010

Congratulation to Gyver for winning the RTB Talent Time 2010 at Amphitheatre, Jerudong. I really missed the show since I was at the Manggis Mall attending my friend's daughter wedding.

FIFA World Cup 2010

The great happening for the next one month will be at South Africa. Oh yes, it is the FIFA World Cup.

I am not a football fans but do watch football once in a while.

Gyver on RTB Talent Time 2010 This Friday

Final for RTB Talent Time 2010 will be held at Jerudong Amphitheatre at 8:00pm on this Friday, 11 June 2010. Gyver is one of the finalists for this competition.

There are seats allocated for all the supports of Gyver. So those who are interested to support Gyver on that night, please contact his mother Edna (8816635) for more details.

I am going to attend my friend's daughter wedding at Hua Ho Manggis Mall. So I can't attend the show. Those of you who are going, please take some pictures and email to me so that I can update in this blog.

Freme Travel Fair 2010

Freme is having its Travel Fair on 30th April and 1st May 2010 at Sheraton Utama Hotel. The fair will start from 10am to 8pm for the 2 days. Since airfares are getting expensive nowadays, this is a good time to buy the fare at a more affordable price if you are planning to go for holiday in months to come. The special fare is only exclusive for these 2 days only. You need to book and pay during this promo period as well.

LBC Mabuhay Cup

LBC (Hari Ng Padala) Brunei branch is having its Bowling Mabuhay Cup from 11 March to 27 May, 2010 at Bowling Utama Center. Each game will be played on every Thursday night starting at 7:30pm. For those of you who would like to take a look of the match, please make your way to Bowling Utama Center on this coming Thursday night (29 April 2010).

8 teams will compete for the cup. After 3 rounds of games, these are the win points for each team.
